Lady of Hope

This piece is a depiction of the Lady of Hope which was designed specifically for the Passion for the Cure fundraiser in Seattle, Washington.

With the universal symbol of hands reaching out to the heavens, the Lady is standing in the center of the Komen ribbon.  With one hand, she holds onto the ribbon and the hope that it represents.  The other hand is reaching out to the future and the possibilities.

Her demeanor is one of hopeful celebration, strength, and courage.

The piece is comprised of painted and stained glass which is encased in a wooden box that is illuminated from the back.  The full size is 8 X 12.
